The Outpost Lodge
The Lodge consist of one large main building and accommodation is in 12 stand-alone en-suite rooms. All buildings are all linked by a half kilometre long walkway made of Zimbabwean teak.The Outpost Lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 guests. The rooms at The Outpost Lodge are decorated in a contemporary African style, with en suite bathrooms sporting great views of the river. Each area has an outdoor terrace and daybed, and an indoor lounge and bedroom.
This unique lodge is situated in a remote part of Kruger National Park, in a wilderness area previously inaccessible to visitors. This lodge is the result of a unique co-operation between private investors and the local community and is the first lodge built in this vast region.
Designed by an Italian born architect, Enrico Daffonchio using simple, clean lines and combining elements of steel and canvas, the stunning contemporary designof this luxury Kruger Park lodge emphasizes its beautiful surrounds but blends in with the wilderness that is its home.
Guests are offered a choice of long/short game drive in the morning and again in the mid afternoon, on their Kruger Park safari. Game drives will be conducted by qualified and experienced guides in open-air four wheel drive vehicles. Walks will be conducted in parts of the region not accessible to vehicles including the spectacular Lanner Gorge
